Rich's film advocating for passage of the New York Health Act, Healthcare Conspiracy, starring Rich and, among others, Mayor Mamdani and Cynthia Nixon, had a screening at the Touro Medical School. The film has been screened several times before by unions, civic groups, and the organization, Physicians for a National Health Plan. It can be seen here.

Rich's Master's thesis play, SelfOwn, will have a reading this Summer with a fabulous cast and directed by his most frequent collaborator, Katie Young.

Rich has been cast in a two night run of a new experimental theater project, Scenes From a Party. Come for the show, stay for the actual party.

Rich just completed his MFA at the famed Brooklyn College Playwriting program. He really really really really really really really really really really really really likes it and is clearly becoming a better writer.
In December, Rich and his board held their eleventh annual Care Package event, creating cold Winter packs for hundreds of people in need with the help of dozens of volunteers who will distribute and make connections to this invisible community over the Winter. Here's to ten more!

In June, Rich and his creative partner, Kevin Deming, were awarded with the NY-Metro Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program's annual Community Activist Award. Rich and Kevin have made multiple films advocating for passage of the NY Health Act showcasing the views of many prominent NY State lawmakers, academics, activists, and celebrities. Over the years, Rich has also attended protests, lobby days, bike rides, and has volunteered at phone banks, flyering, and education events.
Rich's play, Back and Forth, was produced this past Summer by the Healthy Jackson and Performance Marigolds Theater Company. It earned sterling reviews from the NY Times and The Daily Beast (https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-great-gatsby-is-now-an-immersive-playor-is-it-a-party). Rich performed in the production. This Fall, Rich performed in a 29 hour workshop of a new musical at the Cell Theater. The workshop performance of "Alice in Phallusland" was a hit. Rich is thankful to have gotten to originate the role of Noah.

Rich was recently nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Feature at Kevin Smith's inaugural Smodcast Film Festival for his performance in the film, Songs for a Sloth, which he also co-wrote, composed music for, and co-produced (distributed by Gravitas Ventures). Somehow, Rich has remained the embodiment of humility.

This past Winter, the non-profit Rich founded and leads had its 8th season of organizing. Volunteers packed 500 care packages to be handed out to those in need.
Rich recently released an album of songs individually tailor-made as thank you's to donors and supporters of his film, Songs for a Sloth. Rich does all the vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, piano, trumpet, and some light percussion. Not to be all braggy or anything. Check it out here:
